People of Southeastern Wisconsin will have a rare opportunity to communicate with a representative of the US State Department as it formulates policy to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1325. The intent of the resolution is to advance the status of women and prevent future wars. People who are concerned about women and economic disparity, environmental justice and issues of health care and are active in peace groups, organizations and agencies working to support victims of human trafficking and to eliminate violence against women will have their say.
