Women as Agents of Change: Advancing the Role of Women in Politics and Civil Society

The Institute for Inclusive Security is pleased to announce "Women as Agents, of Change: Advancing the Role of Women in Politics and Civil Society," a congressional hearing convened by the House Committee on Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Organizations, Human Rights, and Oversight. The hearing will examine strategies that women have employed across the globe to exercise leadership in politics and civil society, highlighting the benefits of their participation. Emphasis will be placed on identifying best practices and concrete recommendations for how the US Government can more strategically utilize and support women leaders as a resource for building sustainable peace and security.
