Support WILPF’s upcoming fundraising campaign on 25 November 2017
On 25 November 2017, WILPF will organise a one-day campaign commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The campaign will focus on illustrating the root causes of violence, including the lack of women’s meaningful participation, the increased commitment to militarised solutions for peace and strengthened political economies of war.
WILPF’s Women, Peace and Security Programme is dedicated to strengthen women’s rights and participation in international peace and security efforts. Throughout the years, it has been very active by monitoring peace processes and engaging with local and international stakeholders, as well as government representatives. Some progress is visible; however, a lot remains to be accomplished.
